Problem Statement
Current dark room tongs are ineffective and make it very difficult to grasp the prints from out of the chemicals. The gripping system that they use just doesn’t adhere enough to hold them and take them out of the chemicals. Also with the current tongs, the chemicals get caught in some of the grooves and contaminate the other chemicals. The design has to be simple yet rigid to take the wear.

looks good Tony
These tongs will be useful, but the mood board doesnt give a very clear represtentation of what the product is for, it seems like the product from the mood board is more aimed toward cameras and not dark rooms.
Sounds like a good idea
Sounds like a good idea. I don’t have any experience with developing photos, but it would be very useful for the entire photo industry.
the durabilaty of the ones in the school stink if you can make that better it will Definitely help
Sounds like a good idea if you use dark rooms often.
Sounds like a great idea but include a picture that respresents your problem statement.
If you Make them better you could probably set soething up with the school to sell them to them.
good idea tony. Get more pictures for the mood board that accurately what your idea is about. This could make good money.
I've never used them.. but this sounds like a good idea. ..and I really like the pictures on your mood board!
never used a dark room before but it sounds like a great idea.
These tongs would be great. I haveworked in a dark room and the tongs that i used were terrible.
so I haven't used tongs for photography but I'm thinking that maybe putting a bend on the end of the tongs will allow you to get under the prints and get them out
Good idea tony... i like it even thought i have never used darkroom tongs
